Non-Return Air Damper (Backdraft Damper) – 6", 8", 10" & 305mm
Prevent backflow, odours, and cold draughts entering your home or building with Air Junction's Non-Return Air Dampers. Also known as backdraft dampers, these one-way valves allow air to flow freely in one direction while automatically closing to block reverse airflow when the fan or system is off.
Available in four sizes — 6" (150mm), 8" (200mm), 10" (250mm), and 305mm — to suit a wide range of residential and commercial ducted ventilation applications.
Key Features
- Prevents backdraft — automatically closes when airflow stops, blocking cold air, odours, and insects from entering
- One-way airflow — opens freely under positive pressure, closes under negative or zero pressure
- Four size options — 6", 8", 10", and 305mm to suit standard round duct diameters
- Lightweight construction — low resistance to airflow for efficient ventilation performance
- Easy installation — inline fitting for standard flexible and rigid round ductwork
- Australian stock — fast dispatch from our Sydney warehouse
Available Sizes
- 6" (150mm) — suits bathroom exhaust fans and small ventilation outlets
- 8" (200mm) — common size for kitchen range hoods and laundry exhaust
- 10" (250mm) — suits larger exhaust fans and inline fan installations
